Orick Gateway, Redwood National Park Panel Installations
Art and design and HANDPAINTING by Larry Eifert. We added these 1980 photos because this was one of our first interpretive project. Hand-painted graphics and silkscreened text placed under Lexan, it was funded by NPS for the gateway town of Orick.

What's with the log?
This section of redwood was cut out of an old-growth tree that was cut for freeway expansion. It was 180 FEET above the ground when growing.
