We bought Ave Maria on November 2, 2004 (election day - how perfect)
January 29, 2005, we head for San Diego but Nancy breaks her foot.
April to June, 2005, we sail down Baja 1500 miles into the Sea of Cortez.
We continue north from Cabo into the Sea of Cortez
June 7, 2005, we have the boat hauled at San Carlos, Sonora Mexico.
We 've had lots of adventures, but this was a particularly good one. Many of folks have asked for us to put together a trip-log of Ave Maria, so here it is.
As our friend, Nick Reid, says about sailboat cruising, it's like a bunch of bananas, either they're all ripe or all green, but they're usually not perfect. Oh, and it's bad luck to have bananas aboard a boat!
