" Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend. Sea Witch is usually there, and it always seems she's one of the most photographed boats. it's a setup job, using dalhias from Nancy's garden.
This painting was done when the fine old docks at Point Hudson Marina were still authentic wooden docks from WW2- and really worth painting. The Port has now rebuilt all this, and in their haste to make yet more money, they distroyed a place many of us went to photograph or paint. May they rot in their concrete and steel Hell."
