Port Townsend is very lucky to have this century-old fort, filled with its stately houses and barracks. Today, we go there often for concerts, workshops, dinners and, well, wildlife! Glacous-winged gulls are at home here, foraging both offshore in the Straits or in the campgrounds. Either way they make a great addition to the painting i was composing.
