At the north end of our town, this lighthouse guards the entrance of Admiralty Inlet and Puget Sound. Looming beyond is Mt. Baker in the North Cascades. This is serious scenery! It would be difficult NOT to pull off a good painting with these two models to work from. I've painted all over North America, but, again, I'll say: "This is serious scenery."
