Upper half of the Elwha River, Olympic National Park
April 2007
Both these large murals will be used as one large concept mural telling the story of the Elwha. After two large dams are removed in a few years, this valley will finally be a 'complete' river ecosystem. These two paintings show what it might become in a few years.

Kingfisher and Adventuress
February 2007
Winter tie-up for Adventuress is just down the dock from Sea Witch, so I see her often. For this painting, I moved Sea Witch over behind her bow, adding another dimension to this complex scene. Notice the bowsprit bobstay going below the water, creating a real elusion.

This mural shows thedeep crater is the source of hundreds of lava tubes that created the landscape downslope to the north - that later became the Monument.
