Mesa Verde National Park
Commissioned by Mesa Verde Museum Association with research help from Mesa Verde National Park, this original painting now hangs in the park's beautiful old 1930's CCC museum building. The park is near Cortez, Colorado.
This painting has great sentiment to me. In the 1950's my dad, a museum curator, worked on an 'dig' here. I'm now a second-generation Mesa Verdian.
